Disability Resources welcomed Lauren in September 2022. In her role as Coordinator, Lauren assists students through the process of determining and establishing disability-related accommodations, and identifying resources to support their equitable inclusion around the WashU campus.
Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Truman State University, and Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Fontbonne University. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Prior to joining Disability Resources, Lauren worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist, performing diagnostic speech and language evaluations and providing individual therapy sessions in the Park Hill School District (Kansas City, MO), St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and Mercy Hospital St. Louis
Lauren’s passion for directly working with—and supporting—disabled individuals brings her to Disability Resources where she is excited to engage with students, as well as their faculty and staff, to positively impact their WashU experience.
